Persevere by drawing on your community’s courage and strength from your family, church, music, farming, and education. Can you manage the rising waters to stay alive? Primarily, it’s trying to be a light-hearted story-driven romp through the high seas. It’s also trying to be a strategic cooperative game that manages to create and maintain tension through its mechanics. It’s also trying to inject enough selfishness into the gameplay that it never feels fully cooperative. Lastly, it’s attempting to have enough variability to justify multiple plays (ignoring what I assume are inevitable droves of expansion missions).
